View Full Version : [ubuntu] System Suspend and Hibernate

Hey guys:

I just installed Hardy along with XP Pro and I am having Hibernate and Syspend problems. If I click Hibernate a black screen comes up with all sorts of writing on it and same if I do the Suspend. Not quite sure what to do and I am not sure how else to describe the screen. Basically I have to push the power button and shut off my PC. Any suggestions as to what this is?

Unfortunately, suspend and hibernation is rather racy on the current kernels for Ubuntu 7.10 and Ubuntu 8.04, these issues should be fixed in the next release since kernel 2.6.25(the latest kernel) has the suspend and hibernation issues fixed.
