Hi im new to linux, im using ubuntu 7.10
Ive installed the nvidia drivers fine using envy. But when i install the drivers for my creative xfi card, it installs fine. but when i reboot it goes into low vga mode and wont start up at all. ive had the sound drivers working on their own and the nvidia drivers working on their own. But as soon as i put them together it fails to boot correctly.
soundcard: xfi extreme music
vga cards: nvidia 8800gtx in sli
cpu: q6600
mobo: xfx 780i
