Ubuntu freezes during installation or shortly after the startup (i can see the desktop though).
Tested:
Ubuntu 7.10 (both 32 and 64), 8.04 (both 32 and 64)
Fedora 8 (both 32 and 64)
- same symptoms for the all listed above: even if the luck is on my side and i managed to install a distribution then the system freezes after a couple of minutes (even without any interaction)
Damned winxp works fine of course.
AMD X2
ABIT AX78
PowerColor 1950PRO
Samsung 250G SATA2
Is there any way to find out WHY?
