View Full Version : [ubuntu] where does one change the function of the additional keys

I got a GearHead Windows navigator keyboard and i want to change the function of the addiditonal keys.
I tried using keytouch and assigning functions to keys that did nothing before works fine. But i can not figure out how to change keys that already do something. Adding a function to them with keytouch makes them do 2 things.
In particular i want to change the hibernate key. It send the system into hibernation with no warning whatsoever. I would rather have it doing nothing than that.

Solved it myself for the moment.
The hibernate key function can be changed in the power management.
But what about the others that already do something

A lot can be customized from
System -> Preferences -> Keyboard
System -> Preferences -> Keyboard Shortcuts

Hope that helps.
