I would just like to express how happy I am with my HP F2180 printer. After plugging it in, ubuntu instantly recognised it and configured it automatically for me.

Cheers HP for supplying drivers - you are awesome.

Its one of the things that I was wow over when I first used Ubuntu with Fiesty. My printer was on with I installed and I was used to doing the "add printer" from windows that I went to do that with Fiesty and it was already done!!! It was sweet.

Credit must be given to HP and the Linux OSS community for providing such great drivers for HP Printers.
My HP MFD worked perfectly as well.:)
But sadly HP do make OCR software for Windows only and not for Linux. AND I have never managed to use GOCR either!:(
