I had edgy fully updated and then upgraded to feisty.

During the process I was prompted twice I think about overwriting files. Wasn't sure so tossed a coin and overwrote. One of them was network or dns related but I didn't write it down...

After the upgrade completed and restarted everything seems fine except I cannot connect to the internet via wireless. All the wireless connection settings show as unchanged including all DNS, 2x ISP, cable modem (or router), and 127.0.0.1

It seems that things break down when it comes to DN resolution and I've no idea what file has been overwritten but I suspect it was a conf. Looked at resolv.conf and that seems fine.

Appreciate any help

I´m not good on this, but do you need drivers for your wireless?if you do you will have to install it again, because you installed new kernel.Just a guess.
