will upgrade to 8.04 disturb my nvidia driver install?

Been watching and looking and haven't found a report of how the upgrade from 7.10 to 8.04 affects an nvidia driver setup.. will I have to re-install the proprietary drivers again?

Yes you do. Hardy 8.04 actually has an updated driver for nvidia.
