Can you install ubuntu on a website for every one using xp or vista to try. This would be brilliant for when im out at friends because i could usemy os access my files. If this can be done how would you do it. i have 20gb band width to play with and 10gb space to play with

Just give them a LiveCD. They can test Ubuntu for themselves with thier own hardware and make sure it's compatible. Or tell them to download and burn 1

it is not for purpouse

If you want to access files and such from anywhere, you can try http://eyeos.org/, but other than that, there's no way to run an operating system on the internet.

You could remote access your pc using the internet.

Loads of methods are possible,

VNC,
SSH
etc.
