I cant figure out how to get my wacom tablet to work in gimp. I tried a few things but I have no idea, any help would be appreciated.

Have you installed the drivers? I know they're available on the Wacom website. I have a Bamboo, but simply haven't gotten around to installing those drivers, though I dl'ed them.

I got a bamboo too:lolflag:
I went to the website but they only had drivers for mac and windows? :(

Sorry, look here: http://linuxwacom.sourceforge.net/
They don have specific Bamboo drivers, but the generic ones should work. You also want to look here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=765915

I got it working, but gimp wont recognize it? I looked at input controllers and it is not there. Is there a way to get to work with gimp?

are you opening GIMP with the tablet? So when you execute the file, click on it with the tablet. Not sure if this will work, but give it a try
