Do Aliens use Linux?

I was thinking the other day that Aliens (IF they do exist) might use computers too. So I thought: what OS runs on an alien computer??? ;)

Well if we are going to take hollywood with a grain of salt then they use windows 95 (see independence day)
Hopefully the aliens use something better, or the universe is really in trouble...
Actually I can see an alien race using linux or even BSD, even with advanced technology I can see both BSD and linux reaching far into the future thanks to their versatility.

Aliens do not use linux, we would have heard from eachother by now! which means theyre probably less evolved and are still using windows.

Linux DOES however use aliens!

sudo apt-get install alien

and commands alien to do its cross-platform packaging bidding!
