Hey

I recently made several changes to my system, and it indeed changed something the Ubuntu is loading up.

After the pc boots and I choose to load Linux, the logo comes up, but then it goes off and lots of texts come up reported stuff, like checking the OS or something like that. So instead of having the logo and loading bar below, this coding and texts come up and the Ubuntu is on.

Could that mean a future problem?
How can I restore that?

PS, the recent changes I made where:
>reduced the size for the SWAP partion (I had it on 10 GBs)
>installed the nvidia settings for screen res. control
>installed codecs for video
>made a back-up of the config file

Please help.

How much RAM do you have? 10GB for a swap has got to be gigantic!

I know... it was a mistake and that is why I reduced the size to 2 gb. But I dont think that was what caused the logo loading issue. But anyway!
