i'm downloading hardy with bittorrent. how can i verify if my download is a correct, uncorrupted iso?

Torrent clients usually do that for you, AFAIK.

If you want to be sure though you can check the MD5SUM.

Torrents automatically md5sum the download, so there is no need to md5sum yourself.
