I'm trying to install HH from a LiveCD, but the installation appears to hang during the partition step (the mouse cursor stops moving and there is no HD activity). I've tried manually partitioning the drive but that also hangs. Windows partitions the drive quite happily.
The drive is a Maxtor, reported as model 6V250F0 by XP. I installed GG on it fine, including partitioning it (but the upgrade from GG to HH was a mess, hence the clean install). It's the second of two SATA drives in the system, though HH sees them as SCSI.
