I just upgraded from Gutsy to Hardy 64-bit versions, and now my menus are not displaying. when i click the start menu nothing "visible" drops down. I know it is there because i can luck up and click the shutdown button. Even when i right click nothing is displayed. And when i turn on my computer i have two separate boots of Ubuntu on my HDD one is the graphics safe mode and the other is the normal that does not display menus. how do i fix the menu problem and get the unwanted ubuntu install (the graphics safe version) off my drive?
