I was wondering whether a program such as nautilus can be made with a few clicks? I obviously don't mean just 3 or 4!
I was lookin at glade to see the RAD possiblities. This idea came about because I can't move the location bar in nauutilus to the top row.
I was on the mac site and to me it seems like they have deveoped a general environment that any tool, button or text box can be plugged in and used for one thing of another. To me this gives a really integrated and innovative feel.
It may just be my ignorance, but I don't really see something of the same quality for Linux. I know the next version of Ubuntu is supposed to have a whole new layout and interface... But to advance that further and allow for expansion by many people. An easier way of creating useful "OS" applications is needed.
If any of thids isn't clear than I will try to clarify.
