I know this is silly but its big for me. I love Linux and Ubuntu, but I have miss some things from windows. Notably Paint Shop Pro and Opera.

Yeah I know Opera is in the repos but I could never get it working well. So I stuck with FireFox, which is ok but just not Opera. You see I've used Opera since 4 and I missed it.

Well tonight I was reading someones blog
http://www.deviceguru.com/2008/04/28/hardy-heron-moves-into-the-black-tower/
and he installed the 9.50 beta and said it had fixed the youtube problem. So I downloaded it and tried, it works yeaaaaaaaa.

Its nice to have an old friend back in my new home (Ubuntu), now maybe one day I'll get Paint Shop.

i have no idea if paintshop has a linux variant, but you could run your copy of windows in a virtual machine and use it there. i suggest having at LEAST 1GB of RAM though. i use photoshop this way and a handful of other windows only apps that i cannot do without.

paintshop works for v4 under wine, but nothing newer works very well. you might as well use gimp or gimpshop, or run a virtual machine.

good, now instead of being a pyerat, you can use virtualbox. do it.
