To clarify each time I try to run an application that should open an authentication window (Synaptic, Hardware drivers), the app just does not open.
I would like to install/repair Hardy with the Live CD and I am not sure how to do this. Will my files be lost if I reapply Hardy from the LiveCD.
What can be done to fix the gksudo errors I have been receiving?
