I'm trying to install Zimbra onto our 8.04 server. During the install, one of the prerequisets is the libgmp3 file, libgmp3c2 will not work.

In the past, I've been able to install old lib files on newer server editions to overcome problems like this but, I'm not finding any doc's regarding this particular one.

Zimbra is a MAJOR piece of our infrastructure and I need to figure out how to get that lib file installed and available.

Anyone have any thoughts on this? Or has anyone been able to get Zimbra 5.05 working on Hardy yet?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Just found this link:
https://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=224243

There you can find a version for Ubuntu 8.04. I didn't tried it so far. (Will do it soon)
