hey guys
after updating the beta i restarted my computer and in the operating system selection screen there are two ubuntu selections and then the one vista selection.
i dont know what happened. i know that the first ubuntu selection runs the os but im just wondering if ubuntu installed twice and if there is any way of deleting the second ubuntu choice off of the selection screen?

Did you 'update' or 'upgrade' your Beta?
Post your Grub Menu.

If you just updated your Beta, it's fine. If you could describe more in detail your problem it would help. An update of Ubuntu does not affect Windows in dual boot, unless you cannot boot.

i can boot both vista and ubuntu just fine.
the grub screen kinda looks like this..its from my memory..lol

""ubuntu 8.04[some other numbers]-generic
ubuntu---something else

ubuntu 8.04[some other numbers]-generic
ubuntu---something else

other os
vista""

That sounds fine to me.

ok cool
i wasnt sure if the second option was a another install of ubuntu.
cause my system has a hard enough time running 2 but i wanted to try ubuntu out before i switched over..and im pleased so far, soo much faster than vista and looks 1000 times better!
