It's disheartening to see so many problems in trying to upgrade or update Ubuntu to version 8.04. Between General Help and this site, there is nothing else. I have yet to find a 100% successful upgrade with no problems posted. Someone has to be aware of what is going on and taking notes to solve these problems. I personally have been using Ubuntu 7.10 for about 5 months and I am happy with it. I have experience minimal problems and gained experience solving them. I think I will stay with 7.10 for a while. I do not want the hassle of constantly troubleshooting my OS just to make it functional. Not worth the time. Good luck to the rest of you.
