With a new law, the Ecuadorian government prepares to migrate all its public IT infrastructure to open source.
The law has two goals:
1st. To safe taxpayer's money in licensing fees
2nd. To ensure the security of the country's IT infrastructure
Not only that the government want full access to the code, It is also rumoured that the Ecuadorian government has found spy software infiltrated by the CIA into the public servers and desktops.
