Hi!

Yesterday I had a bit of success making a USB stick bootable for my PowerBook. I followed the instructions on this page (https://help.ubuntu.com/6.10/ubuntu/installation-guide/powerpc/boot-usb-files.html#usb-copy-flexible) for making the stick bootable and used the data from the 6.06 live CD image. I just copied yaboot and yaboot.conf from the /install directory to /. I came to the boot prompt where I entered "live". Something happend. Even the logo appeared, but then the screen turned black and nothing more happened.

I'm quite new to Linux and so my aproach was simply trial and error (more error). Can anyone point me to some hints how to really convert a Live CD ISO image to something that can be booted from a USB stick?
