... I left click instead of right click.
I'm still on 7.10 and this has been happening for awhile now.
The update notification icon appears and if I left click it opens the window and shows the updates. If I continue and allow it to try to install the updates it just hangs. I eventually get tired of waiting and kill the process. Seems like it is quitting when it should be asking for my root password.
If I right click the icon and select 'install all updates' I get the usual password prompt and I get the list of updates (looks a bit different though). If I continue here it will go through the update process normally.
Anyone else seeing this? I know an upgrade to HH will probably fix it but I'm waiting another week or two since this is a work machine.
