I set to "don't show hidden files" in my home directory, but next time when i open it their are shown again.

whats problem?

not sure. are you killing nautilus, or closing it normally. You can just hit ctrl-h to hide/show hidden files...

their are shown in any case after restarting program. i close it normaly

hmmm. hunt through gconf-editor for the setting. Thats all i can think of...
(hit alt-f2 and type gconf-editor)

hmmm. I can't think of anything. Are you trying to hide the files just in the home folder, or everywhere?

edit: check in Edit -> Preferences (in nautilus). There should be something about viewing options, and you can set it there.
