Hi, all,
I did the online upgrade on my HP NC8000 laptop w/ Cisco Aironet PCMCIA card from 6.04 to 8.04 and almost everything worked, I was impressed. Only problem was this

and I fixed it as described there.
However now I have another network problem, not sure if it's related to the previous one. Occasionally, sometimes after 30 min, other times 20 hrs, my network stops working (ping returns nothing) and when I try to bring up the network module, the whole system freezes requiring a hard reboot. /var/log/messages shows me nothing obvious. Can anybody help with some ideas on how to fix this? I really enjoy the upgrade otherwise but this bug is annoying. TIA for your help
