Installation problem, distorted screen

I'm trying to install Xubuntu 8.04. The Desktop CD isn't working, so I'm trying the alternate CD, when I try to start installation, I get the screen below. I try Ctrl+Alt+F2, I get a black and white version of the same screen. The graphics card is integrated, VIA/S3G UniChrome IGP. Anybody know any solutions?
