Thank you for reading my post.
Can you please share your fonts configuration?

I use Terminus in urxvt, and Liberation Sans in Firefox, all round, min size of 12. I also have the fontconfig-lcd AUR build, which includes the bitmap code to sharpen the fonts.

I use the default fonts (I don't have any problem with them!), but I also installed the Red Hat Liberation fonts:
sudo apt-get install ttf-liberation

Regular Sans and Zekton.

I use the Ubuntu default font in Firefox, DejaVu. I also insist all pages display in that font (Edit>Preferences>Content>Fonts & Colours>Advanced).

I was using Arial as I was used to it from my windows days, however, a while ago i switched to Liberation, Liberation looks similar to arial, but renders better in linux, and looks better when antialiased, in my opinion.
I also use Liberation in firefox.
Here's a screenshot of my fonts section in appearance.

I use the Microsoft TTF's and set it up with the same fonts settings as the Windows Firefox

I use Lucida Sans. It's a great font. It's crisp, nice and clear.

Agreed, DejaVu is fine, haven't seen the point of installing msttcorefonts for a long time now.

I love DejaVu.
(Sorry for the danish)
But I do need Times New Roman for assignments in school, so I am not all clear of windows fonts.

I love DejaVu.
I use Deja Vu Sans in KDE & Konqueror. I basically copied the Sabayon font setup to my Arch setups.

I use the standard Ubuntu default fonts, add msttcorefonts and just let pages choose their own fonts in Firefox.

I use FreeSans for almost everything. By far it's the best looking font that comes with Ubuntu. Most the others look too thin and light.
