Hello everybody,

i am one of the happy users that made it from Outlook to Thunderbird and now i have a double boot Windows Xp / Ubuntu system and i am trying to get rid of all problems so i can free myself from Microsoft.

I have taken my e-mails from Outlook to Thunderbird with the Import... feature.
I have taken my contacts and finally i work in Thunderbird.

In Ubuntu i use the Storage Folder of thw windows partition so that i can see the same Mail in windows XP and Ubuntu !
(/media/sda2/Documents and Settings/mmingos/Application Data/Thunderbird/Profiles/lim2qceb.default/Mail/Local Folders)

It works perfectly except one thing! When i login in Ubuntu it downloads for example 3 new mail. If i boot after a while in Windows XP, Thunderbird gets the same mail again! That is... it doesn't flag the e-mails as downloaded between the two partitions and it downloads the same mail again.

Is there a way for both Thunderbirds installations to be up to date in which emails are downloaded and which are not ?
