As in the topic.
Image is was, checked against MD5 sums. After burning checked again - all fine.

So, back to the issue.
I have put my DVD into DVD-rom.
Rebooted PC.
Nice installation menu loads, asks for lang and so on.
I chose to install system.
Splash screen with this now-so-common progress meter appears.
Loading..
And ops! I'm taken to bash console, no errors, no installation instructions - no nothing. "start x" doesn't work (no command found),only useful command is "reboot", as rest of them seems like for brash programming to me.
Used normal mode and safe-graphics mode - both with same results.

Am I supposed to copy all packages to HDD by myself, configure and compile? Couse if thats the case, then I guess I'm back with Winblows ;/

On the side note - used 7.10 before, and it was fine. Its exactly the same hardware.. well, perhaps not the monitor, as I changed my 17' to 22'.
I'll check on my old one if there is any change.. but even so - I won't be using my old monitor just cause new Ubuntu has no idea on how to use new one.

Cheers,
Paziek.

Okay, you can delete this post. Found something I was looking for (just had to use different keywords)
