PS2-Mouse no longer working after update from 7.06 to 8.04

Hello,

yesterday i updated my Gutsy 7.08 to Hardy 8.04 LTS. Unfortunately my PS2-Mouse stopped working after the Update. With 7.06 everything was ok. Then i tested a USB-Mouse, it was detected and started working at once.

Did something change with the PS2-Support? I need PS2, because my KVM-Switch only supports PS2.

Sorry für pushing the thread, but is there really nobody, who can tell, what might have happened? The rest of the update worked like a charm, no further problems at all, only the Mouse-Problem.

I am suffering from the same problem, only I upgraded from 7.10. Has it been solved?
