View Full Version : [ubuntu] Ubuntu 7.10amd64 wont recognise Aironet 350

Hi all, I decided to plug in my aironet 350 card the other day and to my dismay I cant find any drivers for Ubuntu and the built in drivers wont detect my PCMCIA model of this card. If anyone knows of a working driver (dont even know where to begin installing the 2.4 kernal airo driver as I am fairly new to linux, or for that matter do not know whether it even can be)

If anyone can assist with this it would be greatly apreciated, or for that matter know of a cheap alernative that supports promisc/monitor mode for that matter and will be pretty noob friendly I will forever be in your debt!

Unfortunatly as many know good wireless security tools are far and few between in windows without some very pricey proprietary components such as the Airpcap ect.
