When I upgraded to Hardy Heron, a separate Firefox 2 - 32 bit installation stopped working. I was using it so that I could use the Java and flash plugins. It does look like Firefox 3 on Ubuntu has Flash working, but no Java. In any case, Firefox 2 cannot go to any web pages. It shrows the error page as if I have no network connection.
Also, I have a Logitech mouse with the side buttons. I have it correctly set up in my xorg.conf file to enable those buttons and Firefox recognized them as page back and page forward buttons. After the upgrade, this ceased to work.
Any clues?
