View Full Version : [ubuntu] Firefox missing add-ons after upgrade (dual boot with Windows)

Hi all,

I have a strange issue hanging around after an upgrade to Hardy. I have my Firefox profile shared between Windows and Ubuntu on a dual boot machine, but since the upgrade, all add-ons have disappeared when using Firefox 3b5 from Windows. They are in the add-ons list, but no other evidence exists (for example StumbleUpon is in the list, yet I can't enable the toolbar anywhere). When I boot into Ubuntu however they are all there and useable.

Any thoughts?

I had the same issue. I've recreated the profile multiple times to no avail.

My guess is Windows doesn't like some of the customizations Ubuntu performs for Firefox. (Perhaps the addon?) It's just a guess...
