I've just upgraded to version 8, and no longer have use of my language support. I enabled and installed the languages I need to use, and it lists them as installed, and there is the proper icon in the toolbar, but clicking it has no effect. The hotkey (I note it's been changed in V.8 to ALT-`) also does nothing. I'm running on a Dell Inspiron 8600 that had no such trouble with Feisty. I love V.8 so far otherwise, but I absolutely have to have SCIM or some alternative working. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
