Hi,
I was wondering whether it was okay for women (who would like to avoid _any_ possibility of sexism) to post their tech questions here? Or is the forum only for specific Ubuntu Women projects?
Thanks.

ha ha I really don't think sexism is to rampent in the Ubuntu community, you should probally just use the regular forums for posting questions as you'll probally get a faster response.

I don't know of any prohibition regarding technical posts in this area. I do think you will be far more likely to get help if you post a tech-related question in the appropriate tech area just because of the volume of readers.
As far as I have seen women are being treated very well in all of the ubuntu forums so unless the idea makes you very uncomfortable I recommend you find the appropriate forum related to your problem.
EDIT: if absolutely necessary, go ahead and post here and we who read here will try to help you or find the answer for you if we can (unless a moderator corrects me).

no, this is correct. That's what this project is about.
We prefer that you use the appropriate section, but if you've gotten burned and this is the only way you feel comfortable, go right ahead. Our of curiosity, what has made you so wary of posting in the rest of the forum?
The ultimate goal is not segregation but integration, so that women feel that they can post with no qualms. Until then, we're here as a buffer zone to help you feel more comfortable, and if the need is extreme, answer support questions.
But, in the end, it would be nice if you'd also explain why you're worried about posting in the rest of the forum, so we can help you through that.

OT - This question is sexism in itself

Panicked is right. I don't look through this Forum as part of my normal "scan" for help requests. I will in the future until you become comfortable though
