Possible bug in 8.04 or i may not know what i am doing.

I have noticed 2 different problems I am having with the new 8.04 installation. I have installed Ubuntu and now do not wish the primary account to have administrative privilages to the system. I added another account which will have admin privilages then I removed them from the other accnt. Now I am not able to switch users. If I try I freeze up with a blank screen.

Also I added a keyboard indicator widget to my task bar (I dont think I am reffeing to them by the right name) but it is not working either. When I first set it up it will work, but as soon as I restart it doesn't actually change my layout. The indicator changes, but the layout does not.

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

I have since re-installed on a different computer and am finding that the layout indicator indeed will not change the layout if the user does not have administrative acces. Is there any way arround this?

On a side note, switching users is working on this pc.
