I have an Atheros wireless card and have had it working fine for a while with madwifi, one day I was messing around and right clicked the network manager and unchecked Enable Wireless and it disappeared off the menu. Now I cannot find a way to re-enable the wireless function of the network manager. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Try this:
System--->Administration--->Network
See if the wireless card has roaming enabled. If not then check it.

Looks like my issue is a little deeper then, there isn't a wireless connection under the connections in the Network Settings. Under Hardware Drivers it says the Atheros HAL and Support for Atheros 802.11 wireless Lan Cards are enabled and In Use.
