Open source CD/DVD burning library

I need a C/C++ library that simplifies the process of burning CDs and DVDs and works on both linux and windows.

Any ideas?

AFAIK, there is no easy solution for that.
I am working on one project with similar problem, and the thing I'm about to do is to find a Linux command which does the job and redirect it's output.

If I find the need for Windows, I'll do the same thing on windows.

Both of the OS version will use the same interface.
