When I tried to install ubuntu 8 on my xp desktop on a partition with the CD in says "BusyBox v1.1.3 Built-in shell. Enter help for a list of built-in commands."
This comes up when I select install or test on your computer without any changes to your system. I ran the test on the disk as well and it said it was good. I am able to install Ubuntu 7.10 with no problems on this computer, but would like to use the newer release. It is a newer computer dell vostro 200.
When I installed it on my laptop this error didn't come up and it worked like a charm. No problems during installation or anything.
Any suggestions?
