I am running 8.04 amd64 and connecting to my schools 802.1x network with wpa_supplicant. Everything connects ok, but when I go to use internet, Firefox says that it is in "offline mode" and I can't get to any webpages. Any ideas?

Click on File and then Work Offline. I do not know how to change the default.
