amsn permissions

Hi... I installed amsn in Heron, it works fine but when I try to add a skin I can't add anything to the skins folder as it says I'm not the owner and can't change settings. I am the only user of this pc. I've poked around Users and Groups but didn't get anywhere. It shows root as the owner.

I am having the exact same problem. My "skins" folder is in

/usr/share/amsn/skins

and I am apparently not the owner.
