I have a laptop with grub dual boot XP and Hardy 8.04.
I installed wubi (live CD ubuntu 8.04) into XP and upon reboot saw what looks a bit like a grub related message as follows
Try(hd0,0):EXT2:_
the blinking cursor is indicated by underscore in the above.
There was no keyboard response at all, ctrl alt F1 did nothing, nor ctrl alt backspace.
(note - this is a demonstration machine. As you might guess, I don't need a wubi installed ubuntu for myself on a dual boot machine)
Any suggestions about what is happening?
