Hi all,
I try to load 8.04 on my IBM X31 Desktop, double boot with Vista.
1)Try the desktop CD, bug in charging the install and after rebooting freeze at the UBUNTU logo with something like two orange bars. So, CTRL-ALT-DEL and suddenly a window appears with an Authserver/GDM error explaining that i've not the right Group/users (something like 114 instead of 106) to open Authoring server datas...
2) Take it easy, try the Alternate, and...same thing.
3) OMG, try with another Laptop, a X30....works fine !!
So my doubt is around the double boot with Vista/install or/with something 8.04 didn't like in X31 (???!!!)
Any idea ?
