Hi
I tried installing windows xp because i needed for some project of mine.

So I first deleted the ubuntu partition and then installed windows xp and

then ubuntu. I have hp laptop so when logged into windows I told my younger

brother to install the drivers for me. He installed the driver for win Flash

Utility which probably changed my BIOS and after that my windows crashed then

i had no other choice because i could not boot into my windows xp so i

tried to reinstall it but after that incident it shows me the error that it

does not detect any of my hard disks and that i should check that if there

are any hard disk they are powered on.

Please help me because I need the windows to be installed in 2 to 3 days

A friend of mine had a similar problem. I'm not completley sure if it's the same problem but for him it turned out that he needed drivers for the SATA hdds.
He's laptop didn't have a floppy drive so he followed this: http://www.tacktech.com/display.cfm?ttid=414
If you can use floppies just google SATA drivers, it'll probably be easier using them.
I hope that helps you.

i tried that link but the problem is that i think for implementing that you
need to have the windows installed but the problem over here is that i dont have windows and cannot even install it. Currently I am writing from Ubuntu and i didnt understand to implement the procedure given on ubuntu...
