View Full Version : [ubuntu] sudo password same as master password?

hey this is probably dumb but is the sudo password the same as the master password, i dont remember setting a "master" password but im currently trying to install openssl for the wireless at uni, (neccisary detail)...

but yeah i go to the respos and dl it but when it comes to configuring it asks for my master password... and i cant seem to find out what it is... :S please help

the root (or master) pw is the same as your user pw, provided that you set up the system yourself.

yeah,i thut that, so i have a much deeper problem then...

trying to install the program... it gives me an error..

"E: glassfish: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1"
