Hiya I've just installed 8.04 on my desktop and it was easy as putting on the disk and following the instructions. My laptop does not get to any sort of graphical user interface it stops at a command line prompt and I don't know what to do.
Does this mean I cant have ubuntu on my laptop I've tried several different versions and all do exactly the same.
Any help in laymans terms would be much appreciated. Oh and the laptop is a smsung p500 if that helps at all.
