Install to USB -- ok to move to other computer?

Hello

I have a computer supplied by my company that is tightly looked down with Windows XP. I want run Ubuntu so I will install it on a USB stick.

Now the question:
Is there a problem installing Ubuntu-on-the-stick on another computer with different hardware than where I will mainly use it?

i have innstalled HH to a usb-stick (8gb), it boots just fine on different machines and diffrent hardware, so it should go just fine, just be careful to innstall grub to the right disc!!
