Hi, I'm having some trouble getting Gutsy to actually download the upgrade..
I press upgrade, the little blurb comes up, then I hit go, and it sits there downloading the upgrade tool... for ever..
runs at 1kb/s, eventually gets there, starts fetching files, and hits about 380/5xx and comes to a halt
My connection is fine, and usually will downoad any OS ubuntu updates at 160kb/s +

should I just download the cd and try that?

I think the servers are still quite busy. Try changing your server in synaptic. If you go to the Choose Server option you can get synaptic to find the best download server for you.

Just curious, how do you do that? I have no "Choose Server" option in my Synaptic
