Hi,
I am falling a little low on hard drive space on my Ubuntu partition, and wanted to give some of my free windows space to it. I was looking around on some forums and got a basic idea on how to do it.
1. Frag windows partition.
2. Backup both windows and ubuntu important files
3. Boot-up computer using either Ubuntu Livecd, or gparted livecd
4. *_ This is where I need some clarification _*
Thanks,
Dan

Defrag your windows partition at least 3 times. The defragger that comes with windows isnt very good so it needs some extra work.

When you boot with the ubuntu live CD go to System->Administration->Partition Editor This opens gparted - a graphical partition editor. Its pretty straightforward from here.
