For several reasons the only way I could get Hardy to install on my laptop was the CLI install mode. I have added the ubuntu-desktop package, but I'm stuck at 800x600 with no sound. I've had older versions of Ubuntu installed on this computer that were able to auto-detect my hardware properly so I'm assuming that I'm missing some packages or drivers. What packages should I add to get a standard install base?
